Having a Home and a Place where I Belong

“Few things are more enraging to people than to have their identity and sense of home stripped away …. Because without a sense of home and belonging, life becomes barren and rootless. They will die for for it, kill for it, sing for it, write poetry for it and novelise about it.”
— Thomas L. Friedman in ‘The Lexus and the Olive Tree’

This may help explain many conflicts in the world today.

And we’ve had many beautiful experiences and lingering pleasant emotions in family, friendships, and fellowship. Receiving, keeping and giving a sense of home.

Having a home and a place where I belong is important to me. We say that everyday.
